Though Anime Bride supports Krieger’s quest to see the Kriegerrand become the preferred global currency, she often finds his normal Operations to be a little boring for her taste. Why do they have to stay in the office? Why does everyone have to look like their normal selves? Why not use more imagination? Krieger doesn’t want to give in to her zanier ideas, since he feels it would derail his attempts to find the most realistic and successful way to make the Kriegerrand take off.
Events are Krieger’s attempt to give Anime Bride a meaningful creative outlet for all of her ideas that would otherwise derail his normal Operations. Events are the exclusive creations of Anime Bride, who personally codes all of the simulations and holographic characters that go into them. Events can significantly change the office and characters’ normal appearances, take place in exotic locales, imagine alternate versions of real-life events, or occur in entirely different universes dreamed up by Anime Bride.
Events only last for a limited time and exist in a special test environment separate from regular Operations. This means that Krieger’s usual Cash, Cocktails, Agents and Simulations will be replaced with ones specific to that Event and will need to be earned from scratch. Likewise, those resources are not usable in or transferable to the main game, though the more successful you are in an Event, the more rewards you’ll earn that can be used back in the main game.
Events can be accessed by tapping the Event button that appears at the bottom of the screen when one is announced or active. This will let you know what the start time and duration of the Event will be. Once an Event has started, the Event button will take you to a separate environment. From here, everything you see will be contained within this environment, including a specialized version of the Black Market.
The main focus of an Event is to earn Event Cash. Reaching certain cash thresholds will unlock rewards that can be used in the main game. To view these rewards, tap the icon at the top-left corner of the Event screen. You can earn even more rewards for ranking better than other players in the Event. You can track your rank against your competitors by tapping the Trophy button to the right of the threshold tracker.
